Liquidation

Liquidation offers potential revenues. While this might be the best option, liquidation traditionally will not cover all of the surplus inventory dispositioned. Through its network of liquidators, Furniture Reuse Solutions can assess the viability of liquidation options.

Reuse through donation is a way to ensure surplus furnishings reach their highest purpose.  Furniture Reuse Solutions works with a network of charities and nonprofits to place your inventory with these organizations to aid them in disaster recovery and economic development efforts.

How It Works

The project process is straightforward. Furniture Reuse Solutions logistics and site management teams ensure that the moveout goes smoothly and on schedule, with accurate inventories and quality control to meet the expectations of the recipients. Furniture Reuse Solutions removes the hassle and uncertainty of asset disposition while providing exceptional environmental, social, and financial benefits.

A project commences with a photographic inventory. Furniture Reuse Solutions responds with disposition and logistics plans, including all your options for liquidation and charitable reuse.

Furniture Reuse Solutions provides on-site management when shipments are being loaded, managing material quantity and quality, and overseeing loading paperwork.

When a project is complete, Furniture Reuse Solutions generates a Results Report, which includes inventory, tonnage, and destination information.

“Last year we faced challenges deciding our options for surplus furniture disposition. We had many schools that were getting new furniture to replace very outdated classroom furniture. Our focus was on cost and environmentally preferred disposition priorities. Working with the Furniture Reuse Solutions' current team, we found solutions to both of these priorities. We reduced our disposal costs by 25%, and we streamlined mover operations to reduce costs further.”
