Our Story

Furniture Reuse Solutions, founded by Megan and Dana Draper, operates with a unique vision shaped by firsthand experiences and a deep commitment to social responsibility. Its inception was significantly influenced by a trip to Nicaragua, where the pair witnessed the profound impact of the provision of second-hand furniture to students who never had a desk.

Not long after this experience, they arrived at a crossroads in their careers. Realizing they had the opportunity to make a significant impact and leveraging their background in logistics they founded FRS in 2020, despite having no financial safety net. Within the first three years, we became a million-dollar company, demonstrating the need for sustainable asset disposition.

While our services continue to adapt and evolve to meet the dynamic challenges of supply chain issues and regulatory considerations, the reliability and transparency that the company provides are unwavering. FRS remains dedicated to its core values of reliability, sustainability, and making a difference. 

Megan Draper

Megan has a rich background in logistics and a deep passion for sustainable practices. Raised in a trucking environment, she excels at managing complex logistics and asset disposition projects. Her leadership drives FRS’s mission forward and her dedication to social responsibility and environmental stewardship has earned her numerous recognitions.

Dana's career has long been dedicated to environmental causes and recycling. With expertise spanning green building and complex logistics, his hands-on approach ensures seamless project execution. Dana's lifelong commitment to sustainability and his innovative solutions in furniture reuse have been pivotal in FRS’s success and growth.

VP, Operations
Brian brings over 25 years of experience in transportation and logistics to FRS. His background in freight brokerage and large-scale logistics management enhances FRS’s mission to deliver efficient, socially responsible solutions. Brian’s expertise in coordinating high-volume shipments ensures that operations run smoothly and effectively, maximizing the impact of their work.
