[Carlsbad, CA] – February 2, 2022 – Furniture Reuse Solutions, a company specializing in sustainability services, is pleased to announce its certification by the U.S. Small Business Association as a Women-Owned Small Business (WOSB). To help provide a level playing field for women business owners, the government limits competition for certain contracts to businesses that participate in the WOSB Federal Contracting program. Joining the program makes FRS eligible to compete for federal contracts set aside for the program. These contracts are for industries where WOSBs are underrepresented.
Already certified by the Women’s Business Enterprise National Council (WBENC), the WOSB certification expands the ability of FRS to participate in bidding as a small business for federal contracts. The WBENC certification gives FRS access to a network of business opportunities in corporations and government agencies.
