Abundance of K-12 School Furniture Available

If your charitable mission involves helping children, then consider sponsoring a shipment of K-12 furniture from Furniture Reuse Solutions (FRS). This summer FRS has projects scheduled throughout the USA that will generate tens of thousands of pieces of good quality, gently used furniture.

When school districts undergo major refurbishment projects, they reach out to FRS for a sustainable disposition solution for their surplus items. FRS matches the furniture with organizations in their network and manages the decommission project at the origin. The furniture is provided free of charge and the recipient organization is only responsible for transportation costs.

The team at FRS has facilitated hundreds of shipments to schools in Africa, Asia, and Latin America, as well as to charter, tribal, public and private schools in the US. All of the recipient schools have reported that the furniture has improved the quality of education for their students. The charities who sponsor these shipments are invariably pleased with the value and results of the placement.
