California University Donates Thousands of Linens

A major California university hosts 20,000 conference guests each summer and provides these guests with linen services. In the fall of 2023, the university refreshed their linen supply, resulting in thousands of surplus items for reuse, including good quality, durable sheets, and pillowcases. They even threw in the towels, 10,180 of them.

Long Beach Unified School District Launches Reuse Program

FRS is pleased to announce a major new project with the Long Beach Unified School District. An estimated 200,000 pieces of furniture from over 2,700 classrooms will be placed via FRS’s network of charities and nonprofits.
